Help End Unjust ICE Deportations in Multnomah County

Join immigrant, faith, labor, and civil liberties advocates to stand up for our communities and say NO to ICE’s unjust deportations in Multnomah County!

Hearing before Multnomah County Commission to pass a resolution supporting our communities’ and requesting prosecutorial discretion on all deportation cases in our region.

The hearing will address issues critical to public safety and immigrant rights in Multnomah County. By asking our local law enforcement agencies to do their dirty work, ICE has forced the costs of federal immigration enforcement onto our local governments and their residents, diminished our public safety, and needlessly torn apart thousands of Oregon families. Help us make our voices heard as we support Chair Cogen and the County Board of Commissioners in protecting our communities and seeking accountability from ICE.

PHOTOS: Drawing the Line Between Police/ICE Collaboration

Salem, Ore.-- On Saturday, 75 people from around Oregon attended the Confronting the Polimigra: Drawing the Line Between Police/ICE Collaboration Summit at Willamette University in Salem.  The goal of the day-long summit is to strengthen the network of community organizations working across the state to address the damaging connection between ICE and local law enforcement.  It also gave the chance for community advocates to come together and learn from one another as we work to end the criminalization of our communities and improve the lives of immigrants in Oregon.
