This morning in the U.S. Senate, a motion to proceed on the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill was defeated in a vote of 46-53. Below is the statement of CAUSA, Oregon’s statewide immigrant rights coalition.
Salem, OR – This morning, 53 members of the U.S. Senate failed the American people when they voted against moving Comprehensive Immigration Reform forward.
