On Saturday May 1st, join CAUSA and our allies in Salem for a Student May Day March in support of the DREAM Act, Comprehensive Immigration Reform and to Pay Tribute to Latin American Workers.
The March will start at 11am at the corner of Winter and State Street behind the Capitol Building and end at the Oregon State Fairgrounds (2330 17th St. NE, Salem, OR).
At the Oregon State Fairgrounds, we will hold a Rally for Immigration Reform and a Homage to Latino Workers--celebrating their contributions to the State of Oregon.
Speakers at this Saturday's rally will call for continued pressure on the President and members of Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform this year. They will also speak out against the new law passed in Arizona which promotes racial profiling and threatens civil rights.
