Oregon Immigrant Rights Organization to Hold Annual Gala on June 22nd
Zocalo Night to showcase Latin American musicians, folkloric dancers, and food from local restaurants
Salem, Ore. – On June 22nd, Causa will hold its 3rd annual Zocalo Night Gala. The fundraising event will feature Latin American musicians, folkloric dancers, and food stands from local restaurants. Featured entertainment for the event includes Cuban musicians Dina & Bamba Y Su Pilon D’Azucar, Los Chinelos and emcees for the evening, Edna Vazquez and Joaquin Lopez.
During the event, Causa will also present American Dreamer Awards to individuals and organizations that have played a key role in supporting Oregon's Latino community to reach the American Dream. The presenting of these awards at the annual gala is a yearly tradition Causa has been doing for the last three years.
