MEDIA ADVISORY
The March for ONE Oregon Bus Tour will start in Bend on March
5th and travel through Central and Eastern Oregon.
“This historic bus tour is to promote the sanctity of Oregon
families, show that we are one community, and one Oregon,” said Amanda Aguilar-Shank,
Senior Organizer at Rural Organizing Project. “Bringing families together from
around rural Oregon and our
allies around from the region, we seek to win dignity for all of our community
members.”
During the 5 day tour, riders will also connect with allies
from Idaho and Washington State in stops in those states. A range of activities
are planned for each stop along the route including rallies, press conferences,
vigils, sharing stories, and meeting new allies.
