PHOTOS: Illinois Congressman Luis V. Gutierrez visits Oregon

On Saturday, July 13th, Illinois Congressman and Immigration Reform Champion Luis V. Gutiérrez made a stop in Oregon on his nationwide tour to send the message that members of the U.S. House must pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill that includes a path to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants and stops the separation of families. During his stop in Oregon, a breakfast was held in Portland and a Forum on Immigration Reform with over 600 local residents, community leaders and elected officials was held in Hood River. The visit by Congressman Gutierrez marked the kick-off of Causa’s campaign in Oregon’s 2nd District to urge Congressman Greg Walden to support Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
