Last month, anti-immigrant activists submitted enough signatures to put Measure 105 on this November’s ballot that seeks to eliminate Oregon’s 31 year old sanctuary law.
Oregon’s long standing sanctuary law was passed almost unanimously in 1987 by both Republicans and Democrats for a very important reason: to end unfair racial profiling. The law ensures that Oregonians aren’t harassed, interrogated, or arrested simply because of the color of their skin or perceived immigration status.
As Oregonians, we must come together to keep this important civil rights protection.
We’re proud to be a founding member of Oregonians United Against Profiling, a growing statewide coalition of over 300 organizations, businesses, and law enforcement officials coming together to lead the No on Measure 105 campaign.

Stopping Measure 105 is a top priority for Causa. Every day, we hear more stories of immigrant families being torn apart and children being detained in immigration camps. Throwing out Oregon’s sanctuary law could turn local police into another arm of Trump’s deportation force.
It’s going to take all of us to protect Oregon’s sanctuary law. As the campaign progresses, you'll hear from us more frequently about how to get involved.
As an immigrant rights supporter, will you join Causa and get involved in the No on Measure 105 campaign? Sign up to take action today!
