Obama, please halt the deportations.  You have nothing to lose and
everything to gain by stopping senseless deportations of parents and
spouses of American citizens. There no person in their right mind will
object that breaking American families through deportations is a new
form of genocide against your own American citizens. You want to punish
people for crossing the border
or overstaying the visa, and you are right to do so. But choose the
punishment that doesn't translates in to orphaning the American children
and splitting American middle class families.    You are leaving
American children with no mother and/or father everyday.  You are afraid
to act because of what a few hate driven Republicans are saying. Just
read the blogs on immigration. Some people speak pure hate, their
remarks violates current laws and  any human
principals, they go as far as proposing to deport American citizen
children along with their parents. Your inaction on immigration reform makes me think that you are promoting hate, discrimination and genocide in the American society.
We gave you the power in 2008, use it. You will not get another chance.

Mr. Gutierrez, Obama is a one term president. The question is who will
come after him. I think you should announce your and Hispanic Caucus
commitment to repeal Obamacare. You voted "yes" only because Obama
promised that Immigration Reform is coming shortly after. Work with Republicans on repealing Obamacare in exchange for their cooperation with immigration issues. You will be able to pass a DREAM act and legalize American citizen's immediate family members.
