Oregon Immigrant Rights Organization to discuss election results and what’s next for Oregon Latinos
Portland, Ore.-- It is being
reported around the Nation that the turn out of Latino Voters held big sway in
yesterday's election giving the edge to candidates and issues. While it will be some weeks before we know the
results of Oregon's Latino Voter turn-out, it is sure to mirror last nights
trends around the nation.
This morning at 10 am, Causa Oregon will hold a press briefing in Portland to unveil our 2013 Immigration Reform Agenda and an analysis of yesterday's election results both in Oregon and Nationally, the Latino Vote, and the impact on the Latino Community in Oregon. During the briefing, we will have testimonies from members of the Latino Community impacted by the inaction of the United States Congress on important issues affecting Latino and Immigrant Families.
